The Journey to Jerusalem

Join us on a Journey to Jerusalem – a unique, exciting, and interactive experience, in an ancient room within the Western Wall Tunnels, about the Jewish nation’s return home from the Diaspora following the destruction of the Second Temple. You will follow the wandering path of your own family and community, going back in time to pivotal historic moments. This is a personal and national journey that conveys the challenges and dilemmas faced on the way to fulfilling the dream of returning to Jerusalem. This thought-provoking experience will touch you in ways you could not expect.
Following the destruction of the Second Temple in the year 70 CE, the Jewish nation was dispersed around the world where they created communities, each with its own traditions and unique story. But what they all have in common is the knowledge that that they had all been exiled from Jerusalem and always yearned to return. And now, that dream has been fulfilled.
For more than a decade, the Western Wall Heritage Foundation researched the paths taken by various communities until the establishment of the State of Israel and the return home. The results of this research are presented in a fascinating interactive experience, using over 150 dramatic and animated clips, that allows you to experience the dilemmas faced by your ancestors and the incessant yearning for Jerusalem.
Make sure to take The Journey to Jerusalem – an innovative, moving, and unforgettable experience.
