Tu Bishvat Program

The programs are led by our qualified educators who enthusiastically help create a meaningful experience for the participants. They cover all the bases, from hosting the video conferences to leading the educational sessions to even placing the participants' notes into the Kotel-all live, in real time.
We invite students and communities to join us as we explore the roots of the Tu Bishvat feast and the history of each of the seven fruits.
The programs include:
1.Teacher Resource Packet about Jerusalem and the Kotel.
This is sent to the teacher/group leader in advance of the live broadcast and contains:
a.Educational materials for the teacher about Jerusalem/the Kotel and its connection to the holiday
b.Lesson plan for art project/activity related to the holiday
c."Petek" sheets-ready made notes for students to write their requests on. These will be scanned & emailed to our guide, then placed into the Kotel on the day of the broadcast

2.Guided program the day of the live broadcast which includes:
·Welcome and opening program from the Kotel guide
·Presentation of class project/activity
·Broadcast of Menorah Lightning happening at the Kotel
·Placing of student notes into the Kotel
·etc.
*The program can be adapted to various age groups and audiences.

Subterranean Areas

Beautiful rooms from the days of the Temple were discovered under the classic Kotel tunnels. Some believe these were used by the Sanhedrin (Jewish court system). The rooms are unique and fascinating finds

The Great Bridge

The Great Bridge

A bridge built of stone arches connecting the upper city and the Temple Mount. An aqueduct ran along this bridge carrying water from Solomon's Pools to the Temple.
